1985 Daytona 200

"Fast" Freddie Spencer, wins the 1985 Daytona 200, which ushered in the Superbike era in U.S. based motorcycle racing competition, after many years of running under "Formula 1" rules, not to be confused with the four wheeled variety of motorsport, that still exists today.

2015 Suzuka 8 Hours

The race was highlighted, earlier in the year, with MotoGP riders Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro, as part of the winning team.  But, here, is some video, of the 2015 Suzuka 8 Hours, one of the best known endurance motorcycle road races.

World Superbike Adopts New Two-Day Race Format

To make things more exciting for the fans, the FIM World Superbike championship, and it's managing rights organization DORNA (which also manages MotoGP), have come up with a new, two-day race format.  It used to be, that both races of the weekend, were held, on Sunday.  But, that all changes, for the 2016 season.

2016 Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup Calendar Announced

The 2016 race schedule, for the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup, a feeder series, for rising star riders from Asia, and the Pacific Rim, has been announced.  Some of the races, will be support races, for events held in Asia coinciding with three MotoGP World Championship rounds, two MotoGP World Championship rounds, and a standalone event in China, in September, for the Pan Delta championship.
