Ducati's new V4 Superbike engine, will replace the beloved rumble of their V-Twin motors they've relied upon for so many years.  By comparison, the new "lump" (yes, this is a British car/motorcycle fan term for the engine), sounds more akin to the engine used by Ducati's Italian high performance motorcycle maker, Aprilia.  To the ears of yours truly, it sounds little bit like a MotoGP bike.
