FIM World Superbike rounds 7 & 8: Imola & Moscow

Tom Sykes swept both World Superbike races at the Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy.

Marco Melandri won the first race in the next round at Moscow Raceway in Moscow, Russia.

Neither of the Superstock classes raced there.  But, of course, the second Superbike race and all racing activity was cancelled, due to the tragic death of Italy's Andrea Antonelli, who rode the #8 Team Goeleven Kawasaki ZX-6-R- in the Supersport class.  Rest In Peace, Andrea Antonelli.  The next race for the World Superbike Championship will be at Silverstone, in Silverstone, England, coming up next weekend.
