Moto 2 at Le Mans was won by Mika Kallio for Marc VDS Racing, ahead of Simone Corsi and Tito Rabat. Maverick Vinales, Luis Salom, Jonas Folger, Dominik Aegerter, Tom Luthi, Sam Lowes, and Franco Morbidelli, completed the top ten. 26 riders finished the race. Xavier Simeon did not start. Julian Simon, Luis Rossi, Alex de Angelis, Johann Zarco, and Mattia Passini, were among the major non finishers in Moto 2 in France.

In a sizzling Moto 3 race, Jack Miller ended up winning the Moto 3 race at Le Mans just barely beating Alex Rins. Efren Vazquez was the star of the race until late in the going before falling to sixth place. One of the top runners, Romano Fenati, ended up not being classified as a finisher.
