Former crew chief for the great MotoGP champion, Casey Stoner, (Christian Gabbarini), who retired from MotoGP, along with Stoner, was approached to become Jorge Lorenzo's crew chief at the factory Yamaha squad. But, despite rumors of him leaving, it will be Ramon Forcada, (Lorenzo's current crew chief), staying with the Spanish rider this year at the factory Yamaha MotoGP team.
