Moto 2 & Moto 3: Czech Republic

In Moto 2 competition at Brno, Johann Zarco won another race, over Tito Rabat, and Alex Rins.  Alex Marquez and Sam Lowes, completed the top five finishers.  Rounding out the top ten were Jonas Folger, Tom Luthi, Sandro Cortese, Luis Salom, and Franco Morbidelli.  26 riders in all were classified at the finish of the race, and another five ended their races in retirement, including Xavi Vierge, (the Spanish rookie for Tech 3), Lorenzo Baldassarri, Florian Alt, Louis Rossi, and Robin Mulhauser, who ended up caboose on the field.

The Moto 3 race at Brno, saw, a first-time winner!  Niccolo Antonelli takes his maiden Moto 3 victory, ahead of Danny Kent (who is making the same move that Jack Miller did last year, bypassing Moto 2 and going all the way to MotoGP next year), and Jorge Navarro.  Fabio Quartararo, and Alexis Masbou, rounded out the top five.  Riders in places six through ten were Brad Binder, Karel Hanika, Efren Vazquez, Jorge Martin, and John McPhee.

Amazingly, in Moto 3, all 36 riders and their motorcycles, finished the Brno race!

Like their brethren in MotoGP, Moto 2 and Moto 3, will next race, in Great Britain, at the Silverstone Circuit, in two weeks.
